How the LESCO Bill Calculator Works

This calculator provides an estimated electricity bill for LESCO residential (A-1) connections based on your consumed units, connection type, and consumer protection status.
It uses the official NEPRA tariff structure effective October 1, 2022, as published in SRO 1168(I)/2022, and the latest slab rates for the year 2025.

Data and Calculation Basis:

  • Slab-wise variable rates: The calculator applies the correct rate for each consumption slab according to NEPRA and LESCO’s published residential tariff:

    • For “Protected” consumers (life line and regular):
      0–50 units: Rs. 3.95/unit
      51–100 units: Rs. 7.74/unit
      101–200 units: Rs. 10.06/unit

    • For “Un-Protected” consumers:
      1–100 units: Rs. 13.48/unit
      101–200 units: Rs. 18.95/unit
      201–300 units: Rs. 22.14/unit
      301–400 units: Rs. 25.53/unit
      401–500 units: Rs. 27.74/unit
      501–600 units: Rs. 29.16/unit
      601–700 units: Rs. 30.30/unit
      701+ units: Rs. 35.22/unit

  • Monthly minimum customer charge:

    • Rs. 75 for single-phase connections

    • Rs. 150 for three-phase connections

  • Financing Cost Surcharge:

    • Rs. 0.43/unit applies to all except “Life Line” (Protected, ≤100 units)

How to use:

  1. Enter the number of units (kWh) you’ve consumed.

  2. Choose your connection type (single-phase or three-phase).

  3. Select your consumer status (Protected or Un-Protected).

  4. Click Calculate to see your estimated bill, including a breakdown of each slab and any applied surcharges.

Note:
This tool is designed for residential connections only.
