How to Use the Gold Price Calculator

1. Enter Gold Weight
   Input the weight of your gold item in the field labeled “Gold Weight”.
   Example: 10

2. Select Unit of Measurement
   Choose the unit for your gold weight from the dropdown list.
   Available units: Grams (g), Kilograms (kg), Milligrams (mg), Pennyweight (dwt), Troy Ounces (toz), Ounces (oz), Pounds (lb), Carats (ct).

3. Enter Gold Purity (%)
   Input the purity of your gold in percent.
   Example: 99.9 for almost pure gold, or 75 for 18k gold.

4. Enter Gold Price
   Input the current gold price per Troy Ounce in USD.
   Example: 3111.90

5. Enter Price Spread (%)
   Optionally, enter a price spread percentage (markup or discount).
   Example: 10 for a 10% price spread.

6. Calculate
   Click the “Calculate” button to get your results.

Results

The calculator will show:

• • Total Gold Value (USD) — value of the gold portion based on purity and weight.

  • Equivalent Weights — in Troy Ounces, Grams, Pennyweight, Ounces, Kilograms, Carats.

  • Bid and Ask Price — with the price spread applied.

Note

• The calculator only estimates the value of the gold portion (according to purity).

• Other metals, stones, or alloys are not included in the calculation.

• Make sure to use the most up-to-date gold price for accurate results.
